"The Old West"
Its the OLD West... with early
'horse'power. This soundtrack portrays a small rural town 'way
out West', sometime at or before the turn of the last century.
Overall this scene is quiet, but up close its riddled with super
details... its essentially nothing but super details. The early
piano music drifts through the street, as do horses, wagons,
the odd distant cow, a handful of chickens, and the occasional
cowpoke. There is also a telegraph office, and blacksmith &
livery stable, and more than a few geezers, whippersnappers,
gamblers, coots, and even Ladies imbibing in the local watering
hole ...where there's usually a poker game in progress.
Of course there is a full compliment
of critters in attendance, and the lonly wind quietly haunts
the wide open sky
(when
you can hear it!).
