Scale Magic™ imaging makes this scene big no matter how quietly you play it. Any one of these soundtracks will sound right at home with most any roundhouse (loco shed), locomotive works, or general shops operation on your pike.

Metal work is the order of the day (or night)! Someone is torturing metal at almost any moment, and more often than not, more than one somebody. Hammers and bigger hammers are the 'go to' impliments of destruction here, but every machine imaginable is at work at one time or another. Mills, lathes, grinders, pnumatic drills and wrenches, wratchets and widgets and files and saws all toil away mercilessly... the locomotives have to be in working order! Of course there is a full crew around to wield the tools of the trade.

The first two soundtracks depict a roundhouse operation that has been electrified, but still uses the belt & pulley system (and machines) from earlier steam power days. The second two soundtracks depict a steam powered roundhouse.
