The latest in our "Signature Series" of industrial switching scenes, the Electric Wood Factory lives up to its namesake (however they do not manufacture electric wood). We are not sure exactly what they are making with wood, but they are building plenty of it in there...

The scene portrays a mid size wood working operation... but no matter how much you turn it down, if its audible at all, the scene image is BIG!

The Electric Wood Factory is not era specific and could be almost any bigger wood product manufacturer in the past century that uses electricity. Each soundtrack conveys a different variation on a shift. All shifts start out quietly, with a shift horn, and build up to an uproar. Lean in and its like being there... move back just a couple of feet and you're witness to the 'big picture'.

Other than some wind, a couple of crows (with ruffled feathers), and Scale Magic™ industrial strength imaging, this scene is 'all about the shop', and could be almost any wood working outfit, almost any time of the day or night, almost anywhere in the world.

Track one (15:24) intro...a typical shift.
Track two (10:32) big... a 'serious caricature', this shift means business.
Track three (15:28) break... mostly hand wood work on this shift.
Track four (15:24) quiet... is a quieter shift.
Track five (4:06) quick... portrays a short, but busy shift.
